A SOUND ART installation was created for RAW Sustainability’s London office, introducing acoustic performance through a nature-inspired visual intervention. The installation uses form, colour and texture to help absorb unwanted noise while adding character to the workplace environment.
The project reflects Echokit’s approach to creating calmer, more comfortable spaces through design that is both functional and expressive.
Designed to Bring Texture and Acoustic Comfort Together
The way a space sounds can be just as important as the way it looks. Noise and hard surfaces can create distracting environments that are difficult to concentrate in and uncomfortable to occupy.
Inspired by the textures found in nature, SOUNDART introduces depth and rhythm to interior surfaces while helping to reduce reverberation and soften the acoustic environment. The result is a calmer, more comfortable space that supports focus, wellbeing and everyday activity.
Available in a range of designs and PET felt colours, SOUNDART can be used to create subtle acoustic treatments or a bold feature.
